Trust Wallet is one of the most popular mobile cryptocurrency wallets, supporting over 100 blockchains including TRON (TRC20). It is available for iOS and Android and provides a self-custodial wallet — meaning you control your own keys.

Installing Trust Wallet

Download Trust Wallet from the App Store or Google Play. Only download from these official sources. Open the app and select Create a New Wallet. Back up your 12-word recovery phrase securely — store it offline, never digitally.

Finding Your TRC20 Address in Trust Wallet

After creating your wallet, tap the search icon at the top of the main screen and search for TRON (TRX). Toggle it on to add it to your wallet. Alternatively, search for USDT and select the TRC20 version. Open the TRON (TRX) or USDT TRC20 asset page. Tap the Receive button. Your TRC20 wallet address (starting with "T") will appear along with a QR code.

Receiving TRC20 Tokens in Trust Wallet

Copy your TRC20 address from the Receive screen and share it with the sender. The sender must select TRON (TRC20) as the network in their wallet or exchange. Transfers typically complete within 60 seconds and will appear in your Trust Wallet balance.

Sending TRC20 Tokens from Trust Wallet

Open the USDT TRC20 or TRX asset in Trust Wallet. Tap Send. Enter the recipient's TRC20 address (starting with "T"). Select the TRON network. Enter the amount and confirm. Note that sending TRC20 tokens requires a small amount of TRX in your wallet to cover network fees.

Trust Wallet vs TronLink

Trust Wallet supports 100+ blockchains in a single app, making it ideal for users who hold multiple cryptocurrencies. TronLink is specifically optimized for the TRON ecosystem, offering deeper integration with TRON dApps, staking, and energy/bandwidth management. Both generate valid TRC20 addresses.
